Series 5 of 5: Five Key Core Components of the Business of Your Life
Series 5 of 5: “Build Clarity”
For me the brain controls all, being worried, concerned or upset means I am not performing in many aspects of my life. The yoyo weight gain and loss, and health issues rear their head. I was amazed how the multiple physical trials of my service career came back to bite me 20 years after retiring. Yes, every time I was not doing what really mattered to me. It started as a little niggle progressively developing to full on pain.
Where there is a will there is a way.
Don’t mess with this saying, it is one of the fundamentals behind a successful fulfilling life. It is such a liberating force because it says yes. Just knowing that “where there is a will there is a way” created many successful people.
You don’t need the doubters of the world telling you that it just couldn’t or shouldn’t be done. Some of these doubters have thought they have had your best interests at heart, they constantly discussed the hurdles not how to overcome them.
If you had followed their directions, you would be poor, miserable, and trapped. You can’t afford to ignore the pitfalls or the problems, but instead you view them as requiring solutions that perhaps alter the strategies you employ.
This means that you can be positive in the face of adversity, you know you will overcome and that you will attract to you the right people with solutions or information. What is valuable is quietly discerning what is important to you and acting on this.
Believe it or not just a few people have earned the right to be fully informed of your important decisions. Yes, others may be aware of your movements but are they aware of your motives. Clarity of your motives is essential otherwise the magical power of “where there is a will there is a way” is distorted to that of the inflexible, driven, and stubborn. Where is the fun or magic in that!!!
